Graduating high school with straight A’s on the baccalaureate exams reflects intelligence, responsibility, and immense potential. Choosing to continue your studies at the Technical University of Moldova, however, is proof of inspired wisdom and a desire to pursue top-level education, here at home, aligned with European standards.
To support excellence and encourage young people to continue their academic path at UTM, the university’s leadership continues the wonderful tradition launched in 2022—rewarding high school graduates who earned top scores across the board with generous prizes. This year, three outstanding young women were awarded iPhone 16 Pro smartphones, 128 GB:
- Anastasia DANU, graduate of the Center of Excellence in Informatics and Information Technologies in Chișinău (CEITI),
- Victoria UZUN, graduate of the “S. Economov” Lyceum in Etulia, Gagauzia (ATU),
- Gabriela DUCA, graduate of “Mihai Viteazu” Theoretical Lyceum in Chișinău.
The three students are now pursuing their studies at the Faculty of Computers, Informatics, and Microelectronics, specializing in “Software Engineering” (English-language track) and “Information Technologies.”

At the award ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Vladislav REȘITCA, First Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, and Associate Professor Dr. Dinu ȚURCANU, Vice-Rector for Digitalization, congratulated the students for their academic achievements and their inspired decision to continue their education at UTM.
“Your outstanding performance and wise decision to study at UTM are proof of your intellectual maturity and strategic thinking. You are a true source of pride for our academic community, and we will always support you in your journey toward professional success,” said Vice-Rector Dinu ȚURCANU.
“This recognition is only the beginning of an academic journey filled with accomplishments. Your hard work, passion, and dedication are an example for everyone. UTM will always be here to support you and open new horizons for your personal and professional growth,” emphasized First Vice-Rector Vladislav REȘITCA.
The exceptional achievements of the three students are the result of sustained effort, as well as the support of their parents and teachers, to whom we express our gratitude for nurturing values and a love of learning.
Through their choices, Anastasia, Victoria, and Gabriela confirm that UTM is a place where perseverance, passion, and ambition turn into remarkable results. Their example is a source of inspiration both for their peers and for future high school and excellence center graduates who aspire to build a successful career here at UTM.
UTM remains committed to motivating and supporting excellence by offering high-quality education aligned with European standards.
We hope that the efforts of these three students, now ambassadors of meritocracy and academic excellence at UTM, will continue to reach new heights of academic and professional success, here at home, at UTM!
