In his opening remarks, Dean Mihail Moroz encouraged active engagement from the academic community in promoting applied knowledge and interdisciplinary collaboration, emphasizing the vital role of strategic partnerships in training the next generation of veterinary specialists.
“This conference reflects our commitment to science, education, and genuine care for companion animals—values we share with our partners. It also provides a valuable platform for dialogue between specialists, faculty, and students, fostering the exchange of knowledge and best practices in support of a modern veterinary medicine based on responsibility, innovation, and respect for life.”

The conference addressed the latest research and practices in veterinary medicine, with a special focus on companion animal health. Key topics included: exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, viral diseases with enteric tropism in dogs and cats—updates in diagnostics and treatment, skin tumors in dogs and cats—diagnosis and treatment, neurological disorders common in Moldova that can lead to misdiagnosis, and osteoarthritis therapy in dogs and cats.
