Based on the “Student for a Day” initiative, successfully carried out by the Career Counseling and Guidance Center (CCOC) of the Technical University of Moldova, a new initiative has been put forward – “Teacher for a Day”.
Given the circumstances imposed by the pandemic and that students can no longer attend their classes in large torrents within the University, the professors visit high schools to carry out demonstration lessons. Thus, we try to show the future candidates for university how vast and captivating the field of engineering is.
The classes taught by the TUM professors in the course of the “Teacher for a Day” initiative are intended for students of high schools and centers of excellence/colleges throughout the country, most of them in their last year. The subjects taught by the professors included the main courses found in the TUM study programs: Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry.
The Technical University of Moldova is ready to respond to all requests and come with demonstration classes for pre-university and college-type educational institutions willing to join this CCOC-TUM initiative in all localities of the Republic of Moldova.
