The training seminar “Development of the university strategy in the regional perspective” takes place between 18 and 22 May 2020, with the support of the German project partner – ISOB (Institut für sozialwissenschaftliche Beratung GmbH).

A visit to Regensburg, Germany, was planned for 18-22 May 2020 to study Germany’s experience in training top university staff. Due to the spread of the COVID-19, the activities were transferred online, so as not to disrupt the project implementation process.

Today, May 18th, on the first day of the seminar, Larisa BUGAIAN, national coordinator of the project, presented its objectives, emphasizing the need to develop a training program for university managers – continuous education through several modules. The representatives of the partner universities – Angela Niculiță (USM), Irina Dorogaia (ASEM) and Daniela Pojar (UTM) presented the structure of the future modules of the training program, identified through the questionnaire at the curriculum development stage.

Nikolas Djukic, Director of the Bavarian Academic Center for Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe (BAYHOST) at the University of Regensburg, held a presentation on the Bavarian region and the education system in the area, referring to the mission, activities and services offered by BAYHOST.

The seminar was conducted using the WEBEX platform, offered by Cisco, with the participation of over 30 representatives of partner universities and ANACEC.
