The Technical University of Moldova is proud to celebrate another remarkable achievement by student Anna Dulce, who took home the gold medal in the general final of the 17th international “6 April” tournament held in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. This victory once again highlights Anna’s exceptional talent and dedication in the world of sport shooting.
This outstanding performance came just a day after Anna secured two silver medals, both in the U-21 and senior categories. Her consistent results also played a significant role in the success of the women’s team from the National Sports Training Center. Alongside her teammates, Alexandra Homutova and Xenia Grosul, Anna showed incredible synergy, narrowly defeating the host team and winning the gold medal and coveted “6 April” trophy in the air pistol event.

This latest victory is part of Anna Dulce’s impressive upward trajectory in sport shooting. Since becoming a student at TUM, pursuing a degree in Public Nutrition Services within the Faculty of Food Technology, Anna has shown extraordinary ambition, hitting her targets both on the shooting range and in her academic life.
Her sports career is truly admirable. Anna is the first athlete from Moldova to win the European championship title in shooting, securing gold in the 10-meter air pistol event and qualifying for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris – a major milestone not just for Moldovan sports but also for TUM’s reputation on the international stage. This will be her second Olympic appearance, following her debut at the 2021 Tokyo Games, where, at just 15 years old, she competed among the world’s elite athletes.
Her qualification for the Paris Olympics came after setting a new national record at the World Cup in Spain – scoring 580 out of a possible 600 points, earning her a well-deserved fourth place. Anna’s impressive track record also includes a bronze medal at the H&N Cup in Munich, two more bronze medals at the 2022 Junior World Cup and the Junior European Championship, a national record in the 10-meter pistol event at the 2023 European Championship in Tallinn, and numerous other victories in prestigious international competitions.
The year 2025 started off strong for Anna with a silver medal at the ISSF Junior Grand Prix in Ruse, Slovenia, in the 10-meter air pistol event, where she achieved a remarkable score of 232.4 points.
Under the guidance of her coach, Olympic vice champion Oleg Moldovan, Anna Dulce has become a source of inspiration for anyone who believes in the power of hard work and unwavering determination. “Anna’s journey clearly shows that talent, when combined with dedication and consistent effort, can lead to extraordinary heights,” her coach proudly stated.
