FIEB-FTA collaboration with the support of Unisim Soft

Improving the educational process can be and must be achieved through collaboration with stakeholders – private companies, but also institutionally, through the collaboration between different faculties, which would encourage the maximum use of their potential.

Within the Faculty of Economic Engineering and Business, several courses are taught through the Oracle platform, installed and maintained with the support of the strategic partner of FIEB – Unisim Soft, which creates a favorable framework for digitizing the economic educational process through continuous use of Oracle, even in the circumstances of the pandemic. At the initiative of the head of the course “Accounting”, senior lecturer Ludmila TIMOTIN, and the head of laboratory work on the Oracle platform, assistant lecturer Lidia SURDU, DEM department, FIEB, a series of seminars was organized for the students of gr. IMIA-191, Faculty of Food Technology. The support of Unisim Soft was provided by Violeta DRAGNEV.

During the courses, the una.md software (based on Oracle) was presented – one of the most advanced tools for recording economic and financial operations, with a special emphasis on the software’s features that facilitate the accumulation of data on economic and financial activity of the company.

During the seminars, the students were instructed to put together:

  • primary documents of movement of funds to the enterprise;
  • fixed assets procurement documents;
  • payment documents (settlement of debts to the supplier);
  • marketing documents for products in stock;
  • revenue recording;
  • income verification report for the execution of taxes;
  • creating the resulting reports at the end of each stage of activity.

The students were excited about the opportunity to use modern IT tools to facilitate the tasks performed by an accountant and complement the necessary skills in the field. Concurrently, intra-institutional collaboration and the support of consulting enterprises contribute to the know-how transfer.
