Viorica LUPU, the director of UTM’s Scientific Library, fulfilled a significant role at the CEEE|Gov Days 2023 Conference, which took place from September 14-15, 2023, at the National University of Public Service (Nemzeti Közszolgálati Egyetem – NKE) in Budapest, Hungary. With an impactful and inspiring message, she made a valuable contribution during the session dedicated to e-Governance in agriculture and digital technology in agriculture.
Her presentation, titled “The Attitudes of Agricultural Researchers against Data Sharing: A Case Study of the Republic of Moldova” shed light on the importance of data exchange and transparency in the field of agricultural research. In collaboration with Dr. Rodica CUJBA, Head of the Scientific Investigations Department at UTM, and Vera SOBETCHI, Head of Methodology and Research at UTM’s Scientific Library, Viorica Lupu presented a remarkable study that will soon be published in the ACM International Conference Proceedings Series, indexed in SCOPUS.
In her presentation, Ms. Lupu highlighted that innovation and collaboration are key elements in achieving sustainable development and efficiency of the public services in the region. She encouraged participants to be open to exchanging best practices and to pursue continuous learning. As a representative of the Technical University of Moldova, she stressed that sharing experiences and fostering regional cooperation can play a crucial role in addressing complex issues and advancing governance in Central and Eastern Europe.
