The Center for Career Counseling and Guidance (CCOC) of the Technical University of Moldova has launched a new edition of the Caravan of vocational guidance for high school graduates.
This year’s Caravan visited several high schools from Ungheni and Fălești districts: “Alexe Mateevici” Theoretical High School from Pârlița village and the “Mihai Eminescu”, “Ion Creangă” and “A. Pușkin” theoretical high schools from Fălești city.
The CEGHID representatives: Radu MELNIC – head of CCOC, Natalia ȘESTENCO – deputy head, accompanied by the dean and vice-dean of the Faculty of Food Technology – Iurie SUBOTIN and Raisa DRUȚĂ, answered all questions concerning the study process within TUM: What are the study programs offered by the 9 faculties of TUM? What partnerships do they maintain with institutions abroad and what are the prospects regarding academic mobility? What are the candidates’ chances of winning a scholarship? Where do TUM students carry out their internships? And, most importantly, what are the employment prospects for each specialty after graduation?
The high school students were thrilled about the open and exhaustive dialogue with the representatives of the Technical University of Moldova, as were their teachers, who expressed their appreciation for such activities that contribute to bringing awareness regarding the need to train staff that are qualified and able to compete in the labor market. The CCOC team thanks the administration of each high school for their openness and hospitality and sends a message to all high school students: “We are waiting for you at TUM!”
