On June 7, 2025, CYBERCOR-UTM, the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova, and the National Association of ICT Companies (ATIC) signed a strategic partnership agreement during the EdTech Moldova Forum. The document outlines a general framework for collaboration aimed at launching the country’s first national high school cybersecurity curriculum, as part of the “Tekwill in Every School” initiative.
The partners aim to work together on developing a curriculum that will include key and specific competencies, learning units and content, methodological guidelines for teaching, learning, and assessment, as well as school materials tailored to today’s digital realities.
The agreement was signed in response to the urgent need to raise awareness of online risks and to educate the younger generation in cybersecurity—an increasingly vital skill in today’s rapidly digitalizing world. The implementation of this ambitious project was made possible through the active support of UTM Rector Viorel Bostan and Vice-Rector for Digitalization Dinu Țurcanu, who have strongly promoted the integration of digital and cybersecurity competencies into high school education. Their involvement reflects the Technical University of Moldova’s commitment to transforming national education.
