Based on the premise that digital marketing requires a strategic and innovative approach, the organizing committee—consisting of Associate Professors Dr. Lilia CHIRIAC, Dr. Tatiana MUNTEANU, Dr. Maria GRIGORAŞ, Lecturer Dr. Diana MEMEŢ, and Lecturer Dr. Sergiu MÎRZA—created a platform for dialogue between academia and the business community. The event featured special guests Olga CERBU, a commercial website creator and Java developer; Mihai BOLOGAN, executive director of iDATA; and Dumitru TALMAZAN, founder of “Talmazan School.” The discussions explored a variety of topics, highlighting opportunities and challenges in the digital era. Particular emphasis was placed on the role of artificial intelligence and chatbots in digital marketing, the evolution of applied marketing in business, and the importance of forging partnerships between academia and industry.

While digital marketing inherently involves technology use, experts underlined that artificial intelligence will complement rather than replace human effort, becoming an essential tool for marketers. This integration presents substantial opportunities for innovation and efficiency in business. The discussion looked into the benefits of chatbots in digital marketing, such as automating email campaigns, optimizing Facebook marketing efforts, personalizing product recommendations, and creating virtual assistants. Additionally, various case studies and success stories in applied marketing were showcased, demonstrating the necessity of adapting marketing strategies to clients’ specific needs.

According to Dr. Rafael CILOCI, universities play a crucial role in promoting innovation and success, and developing an effective digital marketing community depends on close collaboration between diverse institutions.
