Today’s meeting of the Board of Directors of the Technical University of Moldova was concluded with a new initiative from the rector Viorel Bostan, to stimulate and capitalize on the activity of teachers who excel in didactic, scientific and extracurricular work by delivering high-performance laptops, during their activity at UTM.
According to the rector, this is only the first stage of a long-term program, through which the UTM administration aims to emphasize and stimulate the quality, professionalism, enthusiasm and involvement of the teachers in the daily evolution of the UTM academic community.
The teachers who will be in possession of the 150 laptops will be able to use them in designing the courses of the department, in the study at the library or at home, in the different symposia, conferences, internships, mobilities, etc. The first beneficiaries were selected based on nominations by students and graduates in the surveys conducted at the end of the sessions, but also on the basis of the results of the research and internationalization activity of the University.
The tendency of teachers to capitalize on their potential and, eventually, to increase the efficiency of the training act by integrating information technologies could also be supported by granting different hardware and software tools, so that the multilateral activity of the UTM teachers becomes flawless.
