Direction of Academic Management
and Quality Assurance

 I. GENERAL INFORMATION

The Direction of Academic Management and Quality Assurance is a key subdivision of the University that operates based on the Charter of the Technical University of Moldova, the Regulation on the Organization and Functioning of the Direction of Academic Management and Quality Assurance at the Technical University of Moldova, the normative documents regulating the educational process in the Republic of Moldova, and the orders of the Rector/Vice-Rector for Studies.

Mission: To conceptualize the didactic process within the University through the implementation of modern policies and strategies in academic management and to develop a culture of quality in the university environment.

Main objectives:
Ensuring the quality of the professional training process for Cycle I (Bachelor’s degree studies) and Cycle II (Master’s degree studies) within the University, monitoring and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) implemented at the University.

II. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Organizing and monitoring the study process for Cycle I (Bachelor’s degree studies) and Cycle II (Master’s degree studies) within the University.

• Managing and recording the student body for Cycle I – Bachelor’s studies (full-time and part-time) and Cycle II – Master’s studies.

• Coordinating and ensuring compliance of the Quality Management System with reference standards, as well as conducting current activities related to evaluation and quality assurance at the university level.

• Promoting and implementing modern technologies in engineering education and lifelong learning, fostering a spirit of teamwork and research, and encouraging the participation of young people in research and development programs.

• Editing and publishing didactic and methodological materials for university study programs.

III. STRUCTURE OF THE DIRECTION

As a university subdivision, the Direction includes the following units:

The main responsibilities of the DMAQA subdivisions are established in accordance with the Regulation on the Organization and Functioning of the Direction of Academic Management and Quality Assurance at the Technical University of Moldova.
