The Technical University of Moldova and the Cybersecurity Agency (ASC) have established a partnership aimed at strengthening collaboration between the two institutions in the field of cybersecurity. This agreement comes at a crucial time when cyber threats are becoming increasingly sophisticated, making the assurance of a secure digital environment essential for economic and social development.
The signing of the agreement marks the beginning of a long-term cooperation, focusing on information exchange, identifying effective solutions, and organizing joint meetings and events to develop a robust cybersecurity regime in Moldova.

At the same time, the Agency will closely collaborate with UTM specialists to develop innovative technologies that will enhance security levels in Moldova and provide rapid solutions to cyber threats.

The signing of this agreement took place during the International Conference on Electronics, Communications, and Computers (ECCO 2024), which is being held on October 17-18, 2024, at UTM. This conference brings together scientists and engineers involved in fundamental and applied research to present the latest results and achievements in the relevant fields. UTM organizes the conference in cooperation with the Academy of Sciences of Moldova, the Institute for Information Society Development, and the “Cybercor” National Cybersecurity Institute.
