Students’ Selection Contest for International Credit Mobility within Erasmus+ Programme (Vytautas Magnus University, Lithuania)

Technical University of Moldova announces the organization of a selection contest of candidates for academic mobility at Vytautas Magnus University (VMU), Lithuania, within the Erasmus+ programme.

Vytautas Magnus University offers:

1 mobility grant for a student (including PhD students) for a period of 5 months, during the Spring semester 2027.

Field: 061 – Information and Communication Technologies (ICT)

Registration and consultation period: 09.09.2026–23.09.2026

Erasmus+ grant:

• Scholarship: 800 EUR/month;
• Travel grant: 309 EUR.

Additionally, an extra top-up grant of 250 EUR/month is available for students with fewer opportunities. During the selection process, priority will be given to students who belong to one of the eligible fewer-opportunities categories established by Vytautas Magnus University, available here.

THE CANDIDATE’S APPLICATION FILE FOR ERASMUS+ STUDENT STATUS SHOULD CONTAIN THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS:

1. Application form, approved and signed only by the Dean of the Faculty. The form can be requested from the international relations officer of the faculty. Download here (documente utile, Cerere de participare în concurs).
2. Photocopy of the passport. The passport must be valid for the entire mobility period.
3. Transcript of Records, issued by the faculty secretariat.
4. Letter of motivation in English, addressed to the Selection Committee, stating the main reasons for choosing the mobility, the candidate’s study objectives and the expected results (1–2 pages).
5. Curriculum Vitae in English – Europass format, including a photo.
6. English language certificate – minimum B1 level, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
7. Preliminary Learning Agreement (LA) for Studies. Candidates should consult the head of their study programme in order to compare and verify the compatibility of the study programmes. The Learning Agreement should be completed preliminarily, without signatures.

ELIGIBILITY AND SELECTION CRITERIA

1. Eligibility criteria

• to be enrolled as a student at the Technical University of Moldova at Bachelor, Master or PhD level.

2. Selection criteria

• to meet the eligibility requirements;
• to have good academic results in the academic year prior to the mobility and in the latest examination session.

3. Specific criteria

• to have passed all examinations;
• to submit any additional documents requested by the Selection Committee, if necessary;
• to be able to demonstrate specific skills and abilities relevant to the academic activities to be carried out at the partner university;
• priority will be given to students with fewer opportunities, in accordance with the categories established by Vytautas Magnus University.
