Agriculture remains one of the sectors where the Republic of Moldova is changing visibly. In 2025, the sector grew by 10.7% compared with the previous year, faster than most areas of the economy, according to the National Bureau of Statistics. Yet only 14% of the country’s employees work in agriculture.
As farms and agri-food companies invest more in technology, the digitalisation of agriculture is moving faster than the number of professionals trained for it.
The Continuing Education University Centre of the Technical University of Moldova offers the MBA programme “Management in Agribusiness” for specialists, entrepreneurs and managers in agriculture and the food industry who want to work with new technologies in the sector.
