The students of the “Software Engineering” Master program at FCIM-TUM – Alexandru STAMATIN, Laurențiu CIOCAN, Filip OSOIANU and Cristofor FISTIC, presented the final report for the project “Forecasting the maximum number of concurrent agents for users of a customer service solution”, developed for the German company OTRS (Frankfurt) – the main beneficiary.
The research required the application of the knowledge and skills obtained within the “Exploratory data analysis” and “Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence” courses, which proved useful for solving a real problem with significant impact on the company’s business.
The presentation took place online, in front of a commission made up of professors from the ISA Department and specialists from the OTRS company. The evaluators came with several questions, which were proficiently answered by the students under the guidance of the univ. lect., Dr. Corina BEȘLIU.
The members of the commission were pleasantly impressed with the results and skills demonstrated by the young researchers and have proposed the continuation of the project under a collaboration contract, which would involve documentation practice and the subsequent development of the Master’s theses based on real data within the company, in addition to further research.
Well done, IS-DISA! Well done, FCIM-TUM!
