FIEB: a new class of Master graduates in Business Administration

The Master’s degree graduates of the Faculty of Economic Engineering and Business have successfully defended their Master’s theses, concluding the year 2020 with very good results and new career prospects.

The 15 FIEB Master students of the “Business Administration” program addressed current issues of sustainable business development, improving financial management and analysis of financial activity, methods and techniques of economic evaluation, risk management and increasing the competitiveness of enterprises, and development of business plans for startups. The projects focused on the sectoral and comparative research, which attests to the high level of training and competence of the Master students. Moreover, a number of theses touched the subject of sustainable development, perfectly suited for the theme of the Jean Monnet project, currently ongoing at the faculty.

Throughout the examination of the works by the committee, the following theses stood out:

Natalia BOSÎI presented her Master’s thesis in French – “Adjusting the strategy of the “Castle Malting” SA enterprise to European principles of sustainable development”. The committee nominated it as the best thesis in the field of sustainable development in the current year.

In the thesis “Implementation of European practices of sustainable development within the enterprise SC “Creavita” SRL”, Tatiana CIBRIC studied European practices and technology transfer and know-how methods in local enterprises.

Dumitru COJOCARU proposed in his thesis “Methods and techniques of economic evaluation of forest resources in the Republic of Moldova (based on statistical data of the Agency “Moldsilva”)” various evaluation techniques, but also defined measures with conclusive results during implementation.

Tatiana ROICO approached the subject of “Banking risk management in the conditions of the Republic of Moldova (case study: BC „Moldindconbank” SA)” – a field of great social and economic importance, especially in the conditions of the crisis caused by the pandemic.

The theses included instructions on improving the activity of the enterprises and solutions already implemented or in the process of implementation, as a result of the direct contribution of the Master students.

Good luck in your professional activity, dear Masters in economics!
