The Faculty of Economic Engineering and Business of UTM, in partnership with the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Public Administration of the “Ștefan cel Mare” University (Suceava, Romania) organized the International Economic Conference “Competitiveness and Sustainable Development”.
On October 25th, 2019, in FIEB, representatives of 8 institutions from 4 countries (Moldova, Romania, Ukraine, Israel) presented 41 reports, 13 of which belonged to guest-participants from abroad. The team from the University of Suceava, led by the dean, Carmen NĂSTASE, PhD, stood out, thus confirming the fruitful collaboration between our institutions, especially in the educational field, through the double diploma programs or scientific research.
At a local level, there is a promising collaboration in the field of research with the National Institute of Economic Research, several articles of increased scientific interest being presented.
In their greetings, prof., dr. Larisa BUGAIAN, vice-rector of financial problems and international relations in UTM, and prof., dr. Rafael CILOCI, dean of FIEB, mentioned that the sections of the conference include various current topics, such as:

- Management and Leadership

- Finance & Accounting
The presentations of the participants at the conference included indisputable theoretical and scientific arguments and evoked great interest from the public.
The conference opens a wide and excellent platform for presenting research results and for carrying out an efficient exchange of ideas, which will lead to the initiation of new collaboration and the launch of new projects for the benefit of the participating institutions.
