The Technical University of Moldova takes immense pride in its Olympic champion, Anna DULCE, who began 2025 with an extraordinary achievement! Representing her country with honor at the Olympics, Anna secured a silver medal at the prestigious “ISSF Junior Grand Prix” held in Ruse, Slovenia.
Competing in the 10-meter air pistol event, Anna claimed second place with an impressive score of 232.4 points.
“The final was amazing. It was thrilling. I’ll keep working hard to become even stronger!” Anna shared enthusiastically, emphasizing her dedication to excellence. She also noted that this sport has no age limit, inspiring her to continue shooting “even into old age.”
Anna DULCE is not only an exceptional athlete but also a shining example of balancing sports excellence with academic achievement. A student at UTM’s Faculty of Food Technology, specializing in “Public Nutrition Services,” Anna aspires to become a renowned nutritionist, committed to helping athletes and people of all ages adopt healthy lifestyles.
Her journey is a true testament to dedication and perseverance. Throughout her career, Anna has achieved remarkable results, including:
- Gold at the European Championship in Hungary (2024), securing her spot at the Paris Olympics.
- Bronze at the Junior World Cup and European Junior Championship (2022).
- A new national shooting record (10 meters) set at the European Championship in Tallinn (2023).
