The General Academic Cooperation Agreement between VSU and UTM allows for an excellent basis for the strategic partnership between the two universities, which provides for international academic cooperation achieved through exchanges of researchers, professors and students, joint research and publications, conferences and workshops.
The speaker exchange program will offer new opportunities to develop and strengthen the VSU – UTM Partnership, with the potential extension of this framework to other universities, by including the universities of Balti, Cahul, Comrat and Tiraspol into this cooperation.
VSU and UTM aim to create cooperation opportunities for the coming years by creating a platform focused both on industry and the academic component. The role of the platform is to encourage the sharing of experiences, supporting innovation and promoting academic excellence. These activities will strengthen inter-university collaboration and stimulate the development and implementation of joint academic and research activities, which will assist the exchange of experience and best practices between VSU – UTM and other universities.
Also, the Program will improve the educational programmes, facilitate the modernization of the academic curriculum, and attract new students to the programmes in the fields of Economics and Business, Informatics and Engineering, and Agriculture, contributing to the creation of new employment opportunities for the young generation.
“Exchange Speaker Program: VSU-TUM with participation of other universities” aims to ensure the continuity of the activities carried out, so that academic exchange and joint research and study projects can continue within a future inter-university Center of Excellence for Research and Economic Development.
