I’m Boris TĂTARU, currently in my 2nd year at the Faculty of Economic Engineering and Business, in the “Marketing and Logistics” program, and recently, I’ve been offered the opportunity to be an Erasmus+ student at the Università Telematica Internazionale UniNettuno in Rome, Italy, for one semester.
The ERASMUS experience will remain one of the most memorable in my life. Besides learning and better understanding the culture and way of life of a European country different from my own, the Erasmus+ mobility program was like a breath of fresh air that inspired me and gave me the confidence, enthusiasm and courage to look forward to the future ahead of me. I am deeply grateful to the Technical University of Moldova, as well as to UniNettuno University, for this chance to get out of my comfort zone and experience these unique and unforgettable moments!
Much like my other international colleagues, I’ve been offered the possibility to choose a certain number of courses in the field of economics, including some on the subject of the organizational structure of an enterprise.
During this program, I discovered more about Italian traditions and customs, learned about the history and architecture of the city of Rome, and shared some delightful moments with the locals. The most important aspect of this experience, however, was meeting people from all over Europe and making friends among peers from all over the globe.
I can honestly say that my Erasmus+ experience was, without a doubt, an amazing opportunity for academic and personal growth. I’ve learned so much about a different culture, I’ve improved my language skills, and, the thing I am most proud of – I now have friends all around the world.
I urge all young people to consider the chance to pursue the ERASMUS experience!
