FIEB students at the Hackathon organized by Garage48 and Yep Moldova

An abundance of ideas and emotions, teamwork and captivating projects – this is the beautiful experience of 6 students of the Faculty of Economic Engineering and Business of TUM at the Hackathon organized by Garage48 and Yep Moldova.

Mihaela Timotin, Alina Pîrţină, Cristina Ulinici, Lesi Mancoș, Anastasia Bobeico and Cristian Popescu, students of FIEB’s “Marketing and Logistics” and “Business and Administration” programs, are the young people who took advantage of the opportunity to demonstrate and apply their knowledge and skills by participating at the Hackathon on 1-3 October 2021.

For 48 hours, the students developed their own startup idea, under the guidance of mentors from different countries, specialized in Information Technologies, Marketing, Business, and more.

The participants said that, during these two days, they have amplified their skills and creative potential considerably by implementing some innovative ideas, such as waste management in the Republic of Moldova, thus contributing to stimulating the circular economy and developing the country’s ecological infrastructure, as well as organizing courses and webinars for the unemployed, hence making it possible to solve social problems through involvement and inclusive development.

The FIEB students urge other students to also take advantage of any opportunity they find, because it will turn into an unforgettable experience and will bring them one step closer to professional success.
