The young lecturers from the Department of Power Engineering of the Faculty of Power and Electrical Engineering, Constantin BOROSAN and Irina APOSTOL, continue the successful series of training courses on energy efficiency and renewable energy sources.
The participants of the training courses were the students of the Vocational School and of the High School “Constantin Spătaru” from Leova. The students showed a keen interest in the topics covered, were actively involved in the practical exercises, as well as in the Q&A and debate session.
The activities were organized by the Public Association “LT & Liceum” from Leova, which is a beneficiary of the European Union’s Local Grants Program and implements the project “Empowering citizens in the use of modern energy efficiency technologies and renewable energy sources” in the city of Leova.
The local grant program is launched on the basis of the Single EU Support Framework, granted for the Republic of Moldova (2017-2020) under the European Neighborhood Instrument, through the project “Empowering the citizens of the Republic of Moldova” (2019-2021), funded by the European Union and implemented by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ). The project partner for the Southern Region is CRAION “CONTACT-Cahul”.
