Iuliu ȚURCAN, lecturer, dr. Cristina DIACONU – underlined that the issue is of major importance currently, given that the promotion of the circular economy is a top priority for sustainable development in the Republic of Moldova, a plan designed to increase social and economic welfare, reducing environmental risks and environmental problems.

In order to achieve the objectives of the annual stage of the targeted project, the tasks of each partner team were specified. The UTM team undertook the task of developing a questionnaire in order to outline the real picture of the business environment in the Republic of Moldova in relation to the circular economy, estimating the awareness of economic agents of the importance of accelerating the transition to the circular economic model.

Certainly, the results expected for 2021 within this project will have an impact on the conceptualization of new business development models in the Republic of Moldova.
