On December 10, 2020, prof. Viorel BOSTAN was re-elected as rector of the Technical University of Moldova. UTM was (re)entrusted to him 5 years later, after being elected on November 12, 2015, due to his candidacy impressing through academic, scientific and didactic successes.
The renovation and modernization, which he started 5 years ago and capitalized on over time, motivated the university representatives to vote for prof. Viorel Bostan, the majority being in his favor: 575 votes (89.42%) of 643 present at the election (out of 713 registered on the lists)!
Today, the Technical University of Moldova is positioned in prestigious international tops, arranges mobilities around the world, launches multiple projects nationally and internationally, attracts investment, and follows its main purpose and motto as the only higher education institution focused on engineering in the Republic of Moldova: “Engineers create the Future!”.
