The inventions of UTM, awarded at “INFOINVENT-2019”

The 16th edition of the INFOINVENT International Specialized Exhibition (EIS) has announced its winners. During the awards ceremony, held on November 22nd, at Moldexpo, the more than 50 works displayed at the stands by the researchers and inventors of UTM enjoyed the highest appreciation from the Expert Committee and the International Jury of the Exhibition.

Our researchers won 15 gold medals, 6 silver medals, 12 bronze medals, 20 accolades from the international institutions present at the event, but also 3 special mentions granted by the State Agency for Intellectual Property (AGEPI) and national partners.

The team of inventors of the Technical University of Moldova, consisting of Ion BOSTAN, Viorel BOSTAN, Valeriu DULGHERU, Marin GUŢU, Oleg CIOBANU, Radu CIOBANU, Vitalie GLADÎȘ, Maxim VACULENCO and Alexandru TOACĂ won the AGEPI Great Prize “The best invention” for “Wind turbine with vertical and horizontal shaft”.

The AGEPI award “The best industrial design” went to Arina POPOV, for “The cultural clothing model metamorphosis”.

The Prize and the Gold medal for “The best research project done by young people” and the Gold Medal of the National Institute for Laser, Plasma and Radiation Physics Romania were awarded to the team made up of Fiodor BRANIȘTE, Vitalie COBZAC, Vladimir CIOBANU, Irina PLEȘCO, Piotr BODAREV and Ion PÎSLARU for the work “Development of surfaces with controlled degree of hydrophobicity due to nanomicrostructure”.

The Gold medal of the EIS and the IFIA (International Federation of Inventors Associations) Certificate were awarded by the team of researchers Ion BOSTAN, Viorel BOSTAN, Valeriu DULGHERU, Marin GUŢU, Oleg CIOBANU, Radu CIOBANU, Vitalie GLADÎș, Maxim VACULENCO, Alexandru TOACĂ the work “Wind turbine with vertical axis”.

The Gold medals of the EIS and the National Institute for Laser, Plasma and Radiation Physics Romania were awarded to the researchers of M. BERNIC, N. TISLINSCAIA, M. BALAN, V. VIȘANU, M. MELENCIUC for the work “Drying plant for fruits and vegetables”.

Gold medals of the EIS and Special Awards of the Association of Alternative Technologies, Sibiu were awarded to Andrei ZBANCĂ and Valeriu PODBORSCHI for the work “Design concept “Public electric transport”; Vladislav KOVALSKII for “Electric prosthesis”, and the young inventors Neonil ROŞCA and Iulian LUNGU also received the Diploma of Excellence of the State Office for Inventions and Trademarks for “Intelligent waste sorting system”.

The EIS Gold medal and the Great medal in the name of Prof. Dorel Cernomazu of “Ștefan cel Mare” University were awarded to the researchers Vitalie EȘANU, Alexandru MOTROI, Ilie NUCA, for “SDMC-103-03 electronic traction equipment of the electric bus”.

The Gold medals of the EIS were also handed to the authors of the works “Photovoltaic installation type “Sunflower” – Ion BOSTAN, Valeriu DULGHERU, Oleg CIOBANU, Radu CIOBANU – MD; Cătălin DUMITRESCU, Liliana DUMITRESCU – RO; “Intelligent system for cleaning photovoltaic panels” – Ion BOSTAN, Valeriu DULGHERU – MD; Cătălin DUMITRESCU, Corneliu CRISTESCU, Marian BLEJAN, Liliana DUMITRESCU – RO; “The effect of functionalization with pd and pdo2  nanopunctions of CuO / Cu2O films for explosive and volatile gas sensors” – Vasilii CREŢU, Nicolai ABABII, Vasile POSTICA, Nicolae MAGARIU, Dan TOACĂ; “Children’s engineering book edition with integrated augmented reality” – Tatiana BAICEV, Viorica CAZAC; “Applying augmented reality in conceptualizing and visualizing interactive book editions of promoting the urban architecture of Chișinău” – Ana-Maria CÎRJĂ and Viorica CAZAC; “Smart clothes for children” – Victoria DĂNILĂ, Antonela CURTEZA, Stela BALAN and Marcel VÂRLAN.

The Gold medal of the National Research Center for Food Safety University Politehnica from Bucharest was awarded to the authors of the paper “Functional products obtained by using natural carotenoid and texture agents”, Tatiana CAPCANARI, Cristina POPOVICI, Eugenia COVALIOV, Violina POPOVICI, Oxana RADU, Adelina POPESCU.

The Silver medal of the EIS, but also the Award of excellence and the Gold medal of the National Institute for Research and Development for the Chemical and Petrochemical Industry, were handed to the signatories of the work “Process for the manufacture of functional cheese cream” Aliona GHENDOV-MOŞANU, Liliana POPESCU, Rodica STURZA – MD; Ildiko LUNG, Oxana-Ileana OPRIŞ, Maria-Loredana SORAN – RO.

The Silver medal of the EIS and the “Young people’s best research project” of the National Agency for Research and Development were awarded to the team consisting of Marin GUŢU, Vitali VIȘANU, Mihail MELENCIUC, Mihail BALAN, Ion VIȘANU, for the work “Computerized mathematical simulation of transfer phenomena in wet plant products under microwave treatment”.

The Silver medal of the EIS and the Special Prize of the Association of Alternative Technologies, Sibiu were awarded to Nadejda POPOVICI for the work “Automatic system for monitoring the growth and watering of house plants”.

The Silver medals of the EIS were awarded to the works “Device for measuring the parameters of the sensor based on semiconductor oxides nanostructured in the range of microwaves” by Valeri VERJBIŢKI, Oleg LUPAN, Sergei RAILEAN; „Design concept “Electric truck” by Ion ZBANCĂ, Valeriu PODBORSCHI; “DARK SUN Clothing Designl” by Ludmila SECHER; “Power Supplies” by Andrei MANCENCO.

The awards of the POLITEHNICA Innovation from the POLITEHNICA University of Bucharest were handed to the authors of the works “Solutions for increasing the quality of service in the multifunctional telecommunications networks by minimizing the number of control points and combating the physical jitter” Dinu ȚURCANU and Pavel NISTIRIUC; “Process for shaving of precession gear teeth” by Sergiu MAZURU, Ion BOSTAN, Maxim VACULENCO, Andrei CIOTU.

The Diploma of Excellence and the Gold Medal of the PROINVENT Salon was awarded to the work “Yoghurt with germinated sorghum and the process for obtaining it” signed by Liliana POPESCU, Jorj CIUMAC, Eleonora DUPOUY, Viorica BULGARU, Rodica SIMINIUC.

The Special Prize of the Association of Alternative Technologies, Sibiu, was awarded to the authors of the paper “Automated system of water supply from renewable sources”, Ștefan GARABADJIU, Marcel BURDUNIUC.

At the same time, the Technical University of Moldova was awarded the “Special Award” – for achieving excellence in innovation through dedication and the consistent desire to push the boundaries of what can be obtained through science and technology from the National Institute for Laser, Plasma and Radiation Physics Romania. ; The “Grand Prize Inventive Activity” award from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, and the vice-rector for Research and Doctorate of UTM, prof. Mircea BERNIC, was awarded the Great medal in the name of Prof. Dorel Cernomazu – in recognition for the contribution to research and to support the innovative and inventive activities, given by the “Ștefan cel Mare” University of Suceava.

The International Specialized Exhibition “INFOINVENT” was organized by the State Agency for Intellectual Property and the International Exhibition Center “Moldexpo”, in partnership with the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research and the National Agency for Research and Development. The exhibition was attended by about 80 institutions and companies, young creators and inventors from about 10 countries, who exhibited over 450 inventions, innovative and creative products / services, innovative projects and technological transfer, etc.
