Honors diplomas for the best scientific researchers in the Republic of Moldova

As a sign of profound gratitude and high appreciation for the remarkable activity, merits and outstanding results in the development of research, for responsibility and professionalism, for the promotion of the Republic of Moldova at international level, on Day of Science, the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research awarded today, November 7th, honors diplomas to the best researchers in the country.

For their performance in applied research, attracting young people and investments, developing exporting industries, promoting a knowledge-based society, strengthening research and development, innovation and technology transfer activities oriented to efficiency and competitiveness, the research professors of the Technical University of Moldova were also nominated: Victor ȘONTEA – doctor in physical-mathematical sciences, university professor, was awarded the Diploma of the Government of the Republic of Moldova, and Vasile TRONCIU – doctor in physical-mathematical sciences, university professor, and Sergiu MAZURU – doctor in technics, university lecturer – the Diploma of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research.

The Day of Science in the Republic of Moldova was established by Government Decision no. 1083/2010, being organized in the context of the International Day of Science for Peace and Development, which was proclaimed on November 2nd, 2001, at the 31st session of the General Conference of UNESCO.
