In accordance with points 16, 18 and 19 of the Regulation on the election of the Rector of the Technical University of Moldova, approved by the UTM Senate on June 30, 2015, with subsequent amendments, the Council for Institutional Strategic Development of the Technical University of Moldova, based on its decision of April 6, 2026, has validated the applications of the following candidates declared eligible:
- BÂRDAN VEACESLAV – PhD in Economic Sciences, Associate Professor
- BOSTAN VIOREL – Doctor Habilitated in Engineering, Professor

A public debate with the academic electorate, involving the eligible candidates and focused on their managerial programs, in accordance with point 27 of the Regulation on the election of the Rector of the Technical University of Moldova, will take place on April 21, 2026, starting at 15:00, in Aula Magna, study building no. 1, 168 Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Boulevard.
