Rector of UTM, Viorel BOSTAN, expressed openness to this collaboration and stated: “We want to expand cooperation in the agricultural field. We have seen similar examples in the United States, where such centers play an important role for farmers. We believe that we can have a truly effective collaboration with CCAR – whether we are talking about establishing demonstration plots or providing expert activities. We have the capacity to draft and participate in projects, and in this regard, the partnership with the Center is essential.”

The Director of the Agricultural and Rural Advisory Center, Carolina CHIPER, said: “We already have a good collaboration with UTM in several areas, and we have organized a series of seminars together with the agricultural faculties. Through this agreement, we aim to strengthen and expand our cooperation, especially given the essential role that science plays in agriculture. The visits organized for agricultural advisors to the university’s modern laboratories have been greatly appreciated.”

The agreement between the two institutions provides for CCAR to identify the real needs of farmers, while UTM remains committed to developing a joint action plan. In this context, the Technical University of Moldova will support the effort with academic expertise and make available specialists and educational infrastructure to help integrate innovations into training activities.
