In the contemporary era of education, close collaboration between educational institutions and private companies is key to preparing students for the challenges and opportunities of the job market.
The Technical University of Moldova, represented by its rector, Prof. Viorel Bostan, and ERICSSON TELECOMMUNICATIONS LLC, represented by its administrators Victor Crudu and Dragoș-Mircea Rebugea, signed a collaboration agreement on April 24th.
The Dean of the Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications, Associate Professor Dr. Lilia Sava, also participated in the discussions, expressing enthusiasm about this fruitful partnership that promises to unlock new prospects for UTM graduates and students alike.

The main purpose of the agreement is to establish a robust partnership to meet the internship needs of UTM students and master’s students at the Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications. Through specific activities aligned with their field of study, the aim is to enrich students’ academic experience and equip them with the skills needed to thrive in the industry. Thus, this accord strengthens the link between UTM and the private sector, promoting active collaboration to support the professional growth of future specialists in the field.
With a forward-thinking mindset and a commitment to fostering strong ties between UTM and private enterprises, Rector Bostan highlighted the importance of establishing strong collaborations with various private companies, offering students valuable opportunities for development and integration into the professional environment.

According to the Rector, UTM is dedicated to encouraging the exchange of knowledge and technologies with the industry and supporting initiatives that contribute to the economic and social progress of the community:
“In this collaboration, we aim to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and experience between our students and specialists from ERICSSON TELECOMMUNICATIONS LLC, providing them with the opportunities for professional growth and readiness for industry demands. This partnership also reflects our commitment to promoting innovation and excellence in education and research.”
This proactive and inclusive approach creates avenues for students to gain hands-on experience, preparing them for a smooth transition into the workforce. The collaboration between UTM and ERICSSON TELECOMMUNICATIONS LLC will strengthen the links between academia and the private sector, propelling progress and prosperity within the community.

From practical experience and professional connections to enhanced career prospects and a comprehensive preparation for the real world, this partnership seeks to bring significant benefits to both parties and open up new pathways for our students, equipping them for a successful future in the technology industry.
We are confident that this collaboration will elevate the quality of education and foster innovative solutions that will positively impact our society. Together, we are building a brighter and more connected future.
