Programmers’ Day – 2023

Have you ever wondered why ChatGPT doesn’t work as a programmer? That’s because, while it can generate code and solve problems, it can’t take coffee breaks, complain about bugs, or participate in epic midnight debugging sessions. Furthermore, it understands that programmers bring the human and creative essence into the technical process, which cannot be replaced by algorithms, not even with its most advanced versions!

Therefore, dear programmers and techies, you remain the heart and brain of technology, making the digital world always fascinating and full of surprises.

FAF NGO invites you to celebrate your ingenuity and your ability to maintain order in this digital universe on Programmer’s Day – the 256th day of the year!

On September 13, starting at 6:00 PM, all those who have a passion for programming, as well as technology, engineering, and design, are invited to participate in a conference where successful individuals will share the knowledge they have accumulated throughout their careers:

  1. Dumitru Vlah, Project Manager, Tekwill Academy – “IT Market – Competition, Trends, Training Programs, Tips & Tricks…”
  2. Traian Chivriga, CEO, XY Partners – “How to Startup?”
  3. Elena Putina, Lead UX/UI Designer, Enspire Creative – “Only Designers Do UX… and Other Fairy Tales.”
  4. Elena Danilova, CRO Developer, Orange Systems – “A/B Testing: An Efficient Method for User Experience Testing and Optimization.”
  5. Vasile Rotaru, QA Engineer, ICG Engineering – “AI vs the Educational System.”
  6. Maxim Chiriac, Assistant Professor, Technical University of Moldova – “The Importance of Hardware Programming in Present and Future Technologies.”
  7. Marina Bzovîi, ATIC, Executive Director – “Law in the IT field.”
  8. Dragoș Străinu, Planable, Software Engineer – “Making Decisions and Choosing a Job in IT?”

After the conference, the guests will participate in a quiz with prizes, and the evening will conclude with an after-party featuring live music by the Cannary Night band, where there are forecasted showers of networking with many connections on LinkedIn.

All of these are made possible thanks to the generosity and support provided by the event’s sponsor, who shares the same passion for technology and the development of the IT community.

Premium Partner, Orange Systems is the IT hub of Orange Moldova, one of the largest IT hubs in the country. The company presents itself as a “kitchen” where successful recipes tailored to the needs of partners are created, combining its extensive experience and rich history.

This event wouldn’t shine as brightly without the involvement of the Technical University of Moldova – the only accredited higher technical education institution in the Republic of Moldova, which promotes excellence and shapes generations of engineers.

We express our gratitude to our friend who helps us color the evening and ignite the atmosphere – Vinăria din Vale – a family business developed with the contribution of a team of passionate oenologists, technologists, professionals, and locals from the villages in southern Moldova.

Special thanks go to Tekwill, a technological and innovation center, for hosting our event.
