FIEB-UTM: seminar on tools for the development of the agri-food sector and the signing of a FIEB-AIPA Partnership Agreement

In accordance with the activity plan of the Department of Economic Theory and Marketing (TEM) within the UTM Faculty of Economic Engineering and Business (FIEB), on April 27, 2023, a Methodological-Scientific Seminar was organized, titled “Supporting tools for the development of the agri-food sector: theoretical contributions and practical aspects”. The objectives of the seminar was to expose the problems, risks and opportunities identified within the agri-food sector, as well as to present the scientific and practical tools for increasing the efficiency of the development activities in the rural environment.

Among the participants invited at the seminar were: Diana COȘALÎC, deputy director of AIPA – Agency for Interventions and Payments in Agriculture; Alexandru ZOLOTCO, director of ÎS SDE “Criuleni”; Nicolae LELIC, director of SRL “Grădina de Vis”; Nina ZLATOVCENA, director of “Zlatovcena Nina” Homestead; Dorin OLĂRESCU, director of “AGROBIO-GREEN” LLC, teaching staff and students. Greeting messages were given by Prof., Dr. Rafael CILOCI, dean of FIEB, and Prof., Dr. Veaceslav BÂRDAN, head of the TEM department.

The seminar consisted of discussions, Q&As, and suggestions for the implementation of the researched contents, offered by the participants.

In conclusion, AIPA and FIEB signed a collaboration contract for the increase of the contribution to the development of science, innovation, agriculture and the rural environment; offering practical learning internships and organizing information internships for the academic environment; contributing to the improvement of study programmes; establishing the topics of the Bachelor’s projects, as well as of the Master’s and Doctoral theses – so as to be focused on real-life implementation.
