The students of the “Marketing and Logistics” and “General Economics” study programmes of the UTM Faculty of Economic Engineering and Business had the opportunity to participate, as volunteers, in the Specialized International Exhibition of Machines, Equipment and Technologies for the Agro-Industrial Complex – MOLDAGROTECH (Spring), which started its works on March 16, 2023. Main sponsor: BC “MOLDOVA AGROINDBANK”.
During the opening of the exhibition, Carolina CHIPER, director general of CIE “Moldexpo”, emphasized the significance of these events in the promotion of the image of both agricultural entities and the agro-industrial sector, as well as the Republic of Moldova on the international level.
The event was also attended by the secretary general of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, Vasile ȘARBAN, who spoke about the role of the agri-food sector in the national economy, the need to support its development and promotion, and the importance of organizing exhibitions in the field.
Mr. Șarban considers it essential and necessary to learn about the latest agricultural techniques and machinery, irrigation and water supply systems, agricultural crop harvesting techniques, equipment for the food and processing industry, etc., which were displayed in this exhibition.
In support of the young specialists in agricultural engineering, a briefing titled The Agrogeneration was held during the exhibition. The teachers and students of the UTM Faculty of Economic Engineering and Business also presented reports on current trends in the field.
