Prof., Dr. habil. Oleg LUPAN, head of the Department of Microelectronics and Biomedical Engineering (DMIB) within the UTM Faculty of Computers, Informatics and Microelectronics (FCIM), who is also the most cited scientist in the Republic of Moldova, registered another series of noteworthy successes.
This time, scientist Oleg LUPAN was included in the list of the most cited authors of the scientific journal “Sensors and Actuators B: Chemical” (https://exaly.com/journal/12589/sensors-and-actuators-b-chemical/top-authors), with 1787 citations, 165 articles and 9451 total citations. Sensors & Actuators, B: Chemical is an interdisciplinary journal dedicated to publishing research and development in the field of chemical sensors and biosensors, chemical actuators and analytical microsystems, promoting original works that demonstrate significant progress beyond the current state of the art in these fields along with applicability to solve meaningful analytical problems.
According to the most cited articles from the journal „Physica B: Condensed Matter” (https://exaly.com/rankings/author/journal-2/12488/), Prof. Oleg LUPAN ranks 11th in the world, with 312 citations. Physica B specializes in all condensed matter and material physics that involve theoretical, computational and experimental work, publishing results in the following fields: Magnetism, Materials physics, Nanostructures and nanomaterials, Optics and optical materials, Quantum materials, Semiconductors, Strongly correlated systems, Superconductivity, Surfaces and interfaces.
