More about the Careers of the Future:
For the 2022 University Admission period, the universities in the country are launching the offer for three new specialties: Game Design, Animation and Multimedia Production. These are the fastest growing sectors in the global creative industry, with a total turnover of over $ 900 billion.
The new professions can be studied at 4 universities in the country: the Moldova State University (USM), the Technical University of Moldova (UTM), the “Ion Creangă” State Pedagogical University (UPSC) and the Academy of Music, Theater and Fine Arts (AMTAP). Each university will take over the field specific to its specialization.
The courses within the new Bachelor programs will be taught by specialists in the fields of animation, games and multimedia. In addition to the access to the best professionals in the country, the students will also have classes with specialists from globally known companies (Crunchyroll, Sony) and international universities (Entrepreneurship Center at UC Berkeley University).
These programs involve the active usage of technology and the implementation of an interactive course format. All the information and theory will be complemented by many hours of practice in the Centers of Excellence Artcor, Mediacor, and others.
The introduction of new specialties in the curriculum was possible thanks to the Future Technologies Project, funded by USAID and the Government of Sweden.
