Four TUM representatives – designated laureates of the weekly “Literature and Art” for 2021

At the end of the year, the weekly paper “Literature and Art” announced the names of the famous personalities of public and cultural life of 2021. The nominees include the most devoted and prolific friends of the newspaper – poets, prose writers, publicists, essayists, literary critics, comedians, lampoonists, artists, journalists, and, of course, scientists.

Among the laureates named by the weekly “Literature and Art” for their mastery and publications in the newspaper during the year were representatives of the Technical University of Moldova: “Culture, art” department – Victor COBZAC and Tudor BOTIN; “Journalism” department – Valeriu DULGHERU; “Science” department – Ion TIGHINEANU, whom we also consider part of the TUM family, after years of managing the National Center for Materials Study and Testing. Ion TIGHINEANU is the president of the country’s largest scientific forum – the Academy of Sciences of Moldova.

Congratulations and a Happy New Year to the laureates, the editorial team and the friends of the weekly “Literature and Art”!

“Literature and Art” is a newspaper of writers from the Republic of Moldova, founded in October 1954, being the longest-lived and one of the few that we have left. Over the years, the weekly paper has played an important role in the struggle for national rebirth, being also a newspaper of Christian culture and spirituality. From 1986 to March 2021, the late writer and literary historian Nicolae Dabija, Doctor Honoris Causa of the Technical University of Moldova, was in charge of the publication.
