The administration of the Faculty of Economic Engineering and Business of the Technical University of Moldova held a constructive dialogue with the Fulbright Specialist Ceslav CIOBANU, professor at Virginia State University, USA. The discussed topics focused on the strengthening of the cooperation relations between the two parties.
Developing collaborative relationships with prestigious institutions and universities allows for the exploitation of new opportunities, and this is one of the objectives of the Faculty of Economic Engineering and Business. In this regard, we refer to the American universities Suffolk University and Western Washington University, with which plenty of projects in the field of education have been initiated, thanks to the support of the reliable friend of TUM, Fulbright Specialist Valerie MOCK.
Prof. Ceslav CIOBANU’s visit, which is within the same Fulbright project, contributes to the establishment of new collaborations, this time with Virginia State University. In the meeting organized within FIEB, prof. Ceslav CIOBANU presented the history, structure, activities of VSU, and the areas of mutual interest.
The collaboration focuses on matters of an educational nature, as well as on feasibility studies in certain fields of applied research. The dialogue also included discussions on the necessity to develop a partnership that would allow the best use of human potential, take into account the experience of universities and include the support of government institutions and international organizations.
Strategic partners, such as Virginia State University, are a key element in increasing performance through exchanges of ideas, views and know-how transfer.
