Autumn is the perfect season for planting trees. Thus, the employees of the Technical Directorate and of the Study Corps Operations Service within the Technical University of Moldova are in a hurry to complete the initiated project before the first frost.
During October-November, the tree-planting works of those involved in the project included 100 trees of size I, II, III, but also 430 plants donated by the Green Spaces Association.
Under the auspices of the head of the Technical Department, Mr. Dorin TROFIMCIUC, and the representative of the Study Corps Operations Service, Mrs. Tatiana GROPA, green spaces specialist, the TUM representatives helped in the greening of the spaces around the study buildings by planting beautiful decorative shrubs of the Magnolia Henry Kern and Magnolia mix species, natural hybrids of cherry and dwarf cherries, various deciduous trees – Platanus, Liriodendron tulipifera tulip trees, towering oaks of the Northern red oak species – Quercus rubra, and many other stunning species.
Students, teachers and employees of TUM worked hard in the mission for greening the campuses, choosing to finish their initiative in the Autumn – the most favorable season for planting.
