International cooperation is one of the main focuses of TUM’s Faculty of Economic Engineering and Business. In this context, the Technical University of Moldova received a visit from a good friend of the institution, the American professor, Dr. Valerie MOCK.
The Fulbright program offers the opportunity to invite specialists from the USA that would ensure the transfer of know-how and the development of the skills necessary for an efficient university management. In this sense, we highlight the project “Increasing interactions of FIEB and US Counterparts”, conducted with the support of Dr. Valerie MOCK.
Ms. Mock is an expert in the educational field, having extensive experience in university management, but also in the actual sector, being a manager at IBM.
Given the complicated pandemic situation, Dr. Valerie Mock took the time to support TUM and to interact with the students and teachers of FIEB, based on a well-defined set of objectives and tasks, including:
- Developing the internationalization activity at FIEB, particularly by establishing and developing partnerships with Western Washington University and Suffolk University (USA), which would allow the launching of joint projects, ensuring academic and student exchange.
- Organizing seminars for teachers on new teaching methods, digital education, which is especially important in the current conditions.
- Teaching courses for the Bachelor and Master students of FIEB.
Certainly, the activities to be launched soon will bring major benefits to the educational and research process at the Faculty of Economic Engineering and Business within the Technical University of Moldova. This fact is largely due to the collaboration with international partners, one of whom is prof., Dr. Valerie MOCK!
