On April 15, 2021, the Faculty of Economic Engineering and Business organized a roundtable entitled “Digital Marketing in the Age of Information Technology”, to which marketing practitioners were invited.
The students and professors of the departments of Economic Theory and Marketing (TEM) and Economics and Management (EM) had a captivating and instructive dialogue with business professionals on their visions of e-marketing and their own experience in connecting this important economic field with modern information technologies, especially when it comes to the online environment – particularly relevant to today’s conditions.
The speakers: Igor STRECHI – CTO & Founder PURPLE, Digital Marketing Agency, Aurelia BRADEŢCHI – marketing consultant at Magenta Consulting, Ruxanda CAPMARI, marketing director at BC Moldova Agroindbank SA, addressed various aspects of digital marketing, such as: social networks are my CV; case study – ROI calculation; the portrait of an Internet user in the Republic of Moldova; marketing communication on digital platforms. The representatives came with valuable examples and results from their own personal experience.
It is worth mentioning that most speakers are TUM graduates – an indication of the level of training suited to effective integration in the labor market.
The organization of events on various topics is an instance of a good practice applied within the Department of Economic Theory and Marketing of the Faculty of Economic Engineering and Business in cooperation with the business environment, which opens new perspectives both in teaching and research and in the training of students.
