A new program has been launched at the Center for Continuing Education “Energy Efficiency of Public Buildings” (CFCEECP) within the Technical University of Moldova – “Energy Audit of Public Buildings and Related Engineering Systems”.
Given that energy issues have become one of the most prominent social concerns, resulting in global environmental deterioration and depletion of natural resources, the responsible institutions and consumers alike are advocating for the development and change of energy systems. Energy audit comes with solutions in solving many problems related to energy consumption, therefore, in order to knowingly manage the difficult situations persistent in the field and to come up with relevant solutions, advanced professional knowledge is required.
The director of the Agency for Energy Efficiency, Alexandru CIUDIN, congratulated the organizers on the occasion of launching this training program, emphasizing the need to organize these courses regularly.
“- The investments in energy efficiency projects are growing every year and, respectively, we will need to develop high quality audits that require proper preparation. The tasks of an energy auditor are very extensive and, in order to fulfill them correspondingly, these courses will help with learning how to successfully master all the necessary tasks related to energy audit. The trainee will go through the energy audit process not only theoretically, as the course covers practical exercises as well. Therefore, after completing the training, the trainee will be able to implement the knowledge gained through practice. Upon completion of this course, the AEE will, upon request, register the trainee in the electronic register of energy auditors for them to be confirmed as an authorized auditor. AEE will provide the necessary resources available for a proper training”, said Alexandru CIUDIN, in his greeting message.
The continuing vocational training program was developed with the support of the Agency for International Cooperation of Germany (GIZ), approved by the Energy Efficiency Agency of the Republic of Moldova (AEE).
