On March 15, a coordination meeting related to activities of internationalization within the university was organized and chaired by Ms. Larisa Bugaian, Vice-Rector for Financial Affairs and International Relations.
The meeting was attended by the internationalization officials of the TUM faculties: Roman Griţco (FET), Corina Guţu-Chetruşcă (FEIE), Elena Gogoi (FCIM), Iulian Malcoci (FIMIT), Oxana Radu (FTA), Angela Scripcenco (FTP), Cornelia Crucerescu (FIEB), Dina Apostol (FCGC) şi Loredana Melnic (FUA), as well as members of the International Relations Service team – Carolina Timco, Natalia Vladei and Tatiana Munteanu.
The meeting schedule included topics related to the results of the internationalization activity for 2020 and the performance indicators for 2021, the action plan in the field of internationalization for 2021, the mobilities planned for 2021/2022, as well as the necessary actions to promote internationalization.
Ms. Bugaian has emphasized the importance of internationalization for the educational and research progress of TUM, as well as for improving the visibility of the university in the international educational environment. The meeting included the review of the activities carried out in 2020, as well as the objectives for 2021; mobilities, offered by partner universities; the specifics of managing the study process for foreign students and the documents required to be issued to foreign students upon completion of studies.
The meeting concluded with the decision to strengthen the activity of promoting internationalization, as well as the recommendation to use all the opportunities offered by the online environment for the improvement of internationalization and to mediate the process of disseminating information regarding internationalization within the faculties.
