The Technical University of Moldova and the Romanian Aeronautical Authority/European Aviation Institute, signed, on Saturday, September 26, 2020, a Memorandum of Understanding and a Cooperation Agreement.
Emphasizing the importance of collaboration with the Romanian Aeronautical Authority/European Aviation Institute, which ensures the optimal organizational environment for the support, development, promotion and safe conduct of activities in the aviation and nautical fields and provides specialized aviation courses, the rector, Dr. Viorel BOSTAN, mentioned that the signing of these documents is a big step forward for UTM in the collaboration it plans to further develop and capitalize on, but also in strengthening the collaboration with the Civil Aviation Authority of the Republic of Moldova.
In her turn, Diana DUMITRACHE, Director of the European Aviation Institute, mentioned that the Romanian side is committed to training selected teachers from UTM in the field of civil aeronautics, which will be a prerequisite for organizing studies in the field of civil aeronautics at the Technical University of Moldova.
The Parties also agreed on the opening of a Master’s Program in Airport Management within UTM.
