In the context of current preparations for the reopening of higher education institutions for the 2020-2021 academic year, in the conditions of the epidemiological situation caused by the COVID-19 virus, the Minister of Education, Culture and Research, Igor ȘAROV, announced, in a briefing held yesterday, August 24, 2020, the main regulations regarding the preparation of higher education institutions for the new year of studies.

According to the recommendations of the ministry, during the first 2 weeks of the new academic year, universities will carry out their study process in online format. Subsequently, access to the classrooms for first year students will be arranged in shifts, avoiding congestion and ensuring compliance with the rules of physical distancing.

It is recommended to organize the accommodation of first year students in dormitories in a stage by stage manner as well. At UTM, this process will be transferred for September, with the subsequent announcement of the respective period.

In the context of these new conditions regarding the start of the new study year, there will be information offices at each faculty of UTM, which, upon request, will provide necessary details. Contacts are indicated below.
