In the tenth edition of the International Conference ECCO-2019, held at Tekwill, in the presence of the dean of the Faculty of Computers, Informatics and Microelectronics, dr. Dumitru Ciorbă, of vice dean of FCIM, Ana Biță-Țurcan, but also of the participants at the conference, Dinu Țurcanu, the vice-rector for Informatization, Partnerships, Institutional Image and Communication in UTM, and Vasili BRAGA, executive director of ARTCOR, signed a Memorandum of Collaboration.

The document stipulates the enhancement of the interaction between the academic sphere and the creative industries subsector through a series of joint activities, meant to contribute to ensuring the visibility of the Republic of Moldova through staff with a big potential in the creative fields; developing talents by organizing competitions, specialized workshops, schools and alternative laboratories, transferring knowledge from outside through academic exchange programs, but also creating an environment favorable to local and regional sustainable development. In particular, the use of the ARTCOR Creativity Center is envisaged, which can lead to a significant increase in skills and employment in the creative industry.

ARTCOR is a platform that provides support for networking, development and community strengthening in the creative and cultural industries.
