French Members of the Parliament pay a visit to FCIM

A delegation of French parliamentarians, members of the Friendship Group France-Moldova, while visiting Republic of Moldova, expressed interest for a trip to the Technical University of Moldova, to the Faculty of Computers, Informatics and Microelectronics.

The honorable french guests – Jean-Michel MIS, president of the France-Moldova Friendship Group, member of the Committee on Constitutional Laws, Legislation and General Administration of the Republic, Deputy of Loire, member of the Republic in Motion Group (LaREM); Carole BUREAU-BONNARD, vice-president of the French National Assembly, Member of the France-Moldova Friendship Group, Member of the Committee for National Defense and Armed Forces, Member of Oise, Member of LaREM; Frédéric REISS, vice-president and former president of the France-Moldova Friendship Group, member of the Committee on Culture and Education, deputy from Bas-Rhin, member of the Republican Group; Michel DELPON, vice-president of the France-Moldova Friendship Group, member of the Committee for Economic Affairs, Member of the Dordogne, member of LaREM; Jérôme LAMBERT, vice-president of the France-Moldova Friendship Group, member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, member of Charente, member of the Socialist Group; Michel LARIVE, vice-president of the France-Moldova Friendship Group, member of the Committee on Culture and Education, member of Ariège, member of the Unbowed France Group; Damien CESSELIN, administrative secretary of the France-Moldova Friendship Group, deputy director of the Session Services; accompanied by representatives of the Embassy of France in the Republic of Moldova and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, were warmly welcomed by the UTM vice-rectors Dinu ȚURCANU and Mircea BERNIC, the dean of FCIM Dumitru CIORBĂ and representatives of the various subdivisions of the Faculty.

The guests noted with satisfaction that a conclusive proof of the dynamism with which the Moldovan-French bilateral relations develop, as well as of the firm support that France shows for the implementation of the reform agenda in the Republic of Moldova, is fully found at the Technical University of Moldova and implicitly at FCIM, where a Francophone Branch – “Informatica” was founded, a specialty that includes the study of French – “Informatics and applied modern languages”, other subdivisions within which the French language and culture, but also the collaboration with various French institutions is in place of honor.

This meeting represents a good opportunity to connect new bridges of collaboration with various French institutions and to implement projects for the development of French cultural and linguistic cooperation in the Republic of Moldova and implicitly at the Technical University of Moldova.
