On October 15th, 2019, the project “Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in development, administration, management, protection of computer systems and networks in companies of Moldova, Kazakhstan, Vietnam”, with the acronym LMPI, will be finalized.

In September, several activities were carried out within the project, which were recently completed.

Thus, between the 9th and the 13th of September, students from partner universities benefited from in-depth training sessions in Information Security, provided by 5 professors from West Attica University, Greece: Patrikakis Dimitrios Kogias, Panos Yannakopoulos, Konstantinos Mavrommatis and Georgios Tselikis. The topics covered by the training sessions included: IoTSecurity, Blockchain Technologies, Cyber ​​Security Terms, Protocols and Standards, Information Security, Network Security. On September 12-13th, the courses of Information Security and Network Security were delivered at UTM and were co-hosted by Konstantinos Mavrommatis and Georgios Tselikis. Finally, the students who participated in the training session received certificates of participation.

Between the 4th and the 18th of September, a group of UTM teachers benefited from a training course “Aspects of management and audit of information security”, which was provided by Valeriu Cernei, consultant and certified auditor in the field of information security from BSD Management. At the completion of this, the teachers received certificates of participation.

The LMPI project is implemented with the support of EU through the Erasmus+ program.
