The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Transport (FIMIT) of the Technical University of Moldova received a visit from a group of representatives of the German automotive supplier DRÄXLMAIER, a foreign-owned enterprise in Moldova, based in Chișinău, Bălți and Cahul.
During the visit, the head of the Design Research Office, Ms. Ina SCUTELNIC, and the CAD designers Radu STRATAN and Lilian COTONEŢ, graduates of the “Machine Construction Technologies” study program of FIMIT, came with a presentation on the structure and activity areas of the company, referring to the working environment, salary, and employment opportunities for the graduates.
The meeting was also attended by FIMIT dean Sergiu DÎNTU and the vide-deans Vasile PLĂMĂDEALĂ and Alexandru BUGA, who, on behalf of the University, expressed their appreciation for the initiative of DRÄXLMAIER company to collaborate, to propose job offers and to improve the professional education and training of TUM Bachelor, Master and Doctoral students by organizing internships, working visits and applicative activities while ensuring access to technical and logistical resources.
FIMIT students showed to be notably interested in the offers, as over 40 students in their 4th year participated in the meeting.
