Ministry of Education and Research Launches eadmitere.gov.md – An Online Platform for Undergraduate University Admissions

For the first time this year, admission to undergraduate studies, including at the Technical University of Moldova, will take place through the unified platform eadmitere.gov.md. This platform allows applicants to submit their documents online and will be operational starting July 22, when the online admission process to universities begins. Candidates can select up to 3 universities and up to 3 specializations within each institution.

“Over 70% of our graduates choose to continue their university studies here in the Republic of Moldova. This year, admission to undergraduate studies will be conducted exclusively online through the eadmitere.gov.md platform. We have organized a series of online training sessions to familiarize future students with the platform and guide them through the admission process,” said Education Minister Dan PERCIUN during the press conference for the platform’s launch.

Thus, admissions to the Technical University of Moldova will begin on July 22. Undergraduate candidates can submit their applications on the eadmitere.gov.md platform in two rounds: July 22-31 (main session) and August 10-14 (supplementary session). Interim results will be announced on August 2 and August 16, respectively. Subsequently, candidates admitted by the educational institutions to one or more specializations will make their choice and submit the original documents to the university where they want to study. The final results will be displayed on August 9 (main session) and August 20 (supplementary session).

The platform can be easily accessed via phone or laptop, and candidates will need to follow a few steps to submit their admission applications.

  • The first step is to authenticate: either through the government MPass system or via email. The candidate will create a personal account and complete the registration form with the requested information. They will provide a valid email address and phone number to receive notifications throughout the admission process.
  • Next is uploading the required documents and, if necessary, supporting documents for those who fall into special categories of candidates according to the Admission Regulations.
  • After completing and saving the data, the next step is to submit the application to participate in the admission competition. The candidate can submit up to 3 applications: a maximum of three universities, and at each university, up to 3 specializations in priority order. An admission fee, determined by each higher education institution, will also need to be paid.
  • Institutions will communicate the admission results through the information system and their institutional websites.

Young people who have not yet decided on a specialization can visit the institution’s Admission Commission, where they will be assisted in choosing a specialization based on their preferences. Additionally, candidates can receive help from the Commission in completing the online form on the eadmitere platform. In the Republic of Moldova, there are 16 higher education institutions with over 200 specializations and study programs, attended by approximately 56,000 students. For this year’s admission, Moldovan universities will offer a total of 8,697 state-funded places for undergraduate, master’s, residency, and clinical secondary studies. It is noteworthy that 25% of the total state-funded places for undergraduate and master’s studies, amounting to 2,104 places, will be allocated to the field of educational sciences.
