19 graduates of the UTM Faculty of Computers, Informatics and Microelectronics have become licensed engineers in the field of Information Security. The class of 2022 is the 8th generation of students that completed a degree in the field.
The Bachelor Examination Commission, consisting of Dr. Igor COJOCARU (president), director of the Institute for the Development of the Information Society, univ. prof., Dr. Ion BOLUN, univ. prof., Dr. Victor BEȘLIU, and univ. lect. Rodica BULAI, head of the “Information Security” program, noted the relevance and diversity of the topics researched, as well as the professional and communication skills of the graduates. Some of the innovative views and solutions proposed by the students and highlighted by the Commission were:
- Implementation of the CTF (Capture The Flag) web platform at UTM (authors: Alexandr DIMOGLO, Dmitrii TERTICINII and Alexandru TODOS);
- Employee training, evaluation and selection system for secure IT projects (author: Mihai CERCHEZ);
- Secure computer application for monitoring active USB devices (author: Aurelian GORE);
- Content filtering and secure web access management (author: Dmitrii MUSCINSCHI);
- Implementation of the security control system based on RFID technology (author: Victor COCIUG).
